ABOUT COUNTRYMAN STABLES
Countryman Stables has served as a premier, full service barn on Bainbridge Island for over 40 years. Offering instruction and training in hunters, jumpers and equitation for riders of all levels, we have classes and programs for everyone. Located on the south end of beautiful Bainbridge Island, we are a short 35 min ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Our students and boarders come from all over Kitsap and King counties.
Countryman Stables is a family-owned and operated facility that creates a fun and friendly atmosphere for riders of all ages and stages. Our students learn all aspects of horsemanship in a professional, caring environment. We compete in all levels of horse shows; from local schooling shows, to rated shows in Washington, Oregon, Canada and Idaho.

TRAINING & SHOWING
From a young age, Katie learned to develop green horses, bringing many to the highest levels of competition with her. Katie brings a lifetime of experience to her work as a trainer. From finding the right horse for you, to helping you and your horse reach the next level, Katie is intuitive and adaptable. She learns what you and your horse need to succeed. Katie enjoys sharing this wisdom and insight with her riders to foster their development and enjoyment of the sport. As such, Katie is an exceptional show trainer for those who wish to compete.

LESSONS & LEASING
With 60 years of experience between them, Katie and Kathy enjoy supporting riders of all ages and stages of experience. Both mother and daughter bring a patient and observant approach to fostering all aspects of good horsemanship, from the ground to the saddle. We offer both private and group lessons, depending on each rider's needs. Whether you would like to take lessons on your own horse, lease a horse at the stable, or be matched with one of our school horses; we are committed to finding the right fit for your needs, every step of your journey.

BOARDING & HAULING
Our barn has two spacious tack rooms, cross tie areas, and tie up spots. We personally manage the care of all horses on site, which means that your horse is consistently looked after by professionals with decades of experience in all aspects of equine care. Our facilities include a large covered arena with jumps, multiple turnout paddocks and 18 stalls. We have multiple trailers to safely haul horses to shows and trails. While we don't always have space, we do our best to respond to all inquiries, if/when an appropriate opening arises.
Full Board: $750 | Month
Hauling: $1.75 / mile
